Glad you are all safe. Honestly sometimes sounds scary. Love hearing about your journey.
We missed you at ACL this year. I sent Donna a pix of her favorite BMI stage but I’m sure you have no service there.
Be Well.

Always enjoy hearing about the adventures of family Ludwig. A tad bit jealous at times and appreciative of many of our comforts at other times. Not sure how my low blood sugar, vertigo and motion sickness would handle a number of your situations. Still, living a bit vicariously through you and Jessie. We heard from her by surprise for the first time two days ago after six weeks of her hiking the Himalayas. She was staying in a “hotel” in a mountain village. For the first time in six weeks she had a bed, a non-bucket shower, electricity, and most importantly – she did not have to dig her own hole because she had a flush toilet. I am sure you can relate to some extent. Tonight Ann and I are headed to Severance Hall to hear Sophie Madorsky sing. That is right, Severance Hall. I can remebmer her just a short time ago as a rambuncious seven year old at Shabbaton. My how things have changed. That is all for now from Cleveberg. Save Travels! Scott

Fantastic journey !! Glad to be ‘going along’ with you all. The skiing in Dubai was unbelievable !! Quite a departure from your previous blogs. Take care … keep enjoying the experience of a lifetime !!
Happy New Year! Hope that 2013 is even more memorable than 2012.

My mom, Joan Rosenthal, is friends with your folks (and we know Ken and Amy) and she sends me your blogs. I love reading them. Perfect balance of detail and commentary, along with the right spice of humor. We are on sabbatical in Switzerland for a year (also did a sabbatical here 9 years ago, and one in Oxford, England 7 years ago) and so love reading fellow travelers’ stories. Can’t wait to read about India. Keep posting!
What an adventure! Living Life–very cool 🙂
